Graham Hembrow BIO

Graham 44, is married to his lovely wife Natasha, with whom he has three children. Graham’s passion for prison ministry was realised when a close family member was imprisoned in 2003. It was while visiting that Graham had a prison waiting room encounter that led to his salvation and his subsequent faith journey.

Graham joined Prison Fellowship Australia – Queensland (PFAQ) in 2005 as a volunteer, later becoming a PFAQ Chaplain and Chaplaincy Coordinator. Graham’s many years of experience with PFAQ programs, as well as State Advisory Council Member and Vice-Chairman led to his 2017 appointment as State Manager.

Graham has an exciting vision for the future of PFAQ and has embarked on an ambitious expansion of programs focusing on restorative justice and sharing the love of Christ in both Word and deed with prisoners, their families and victims of crime.

Graham has a Bachelor of Theology & Philosophy from ACU, has served as an associate pastor with Australian Christian Churches and overseen Drug ARM Australasia’s Outreach Services across Queensland.
